Big Idea: Using the resurrection of Jesus as the backdrop we will examine how Jesus interacted with people that doubted that He really was alive.

Big Idea: Doubt can serve as an opportunity to explore deeper faith…what if we switched out thinking about doubt from a personal elimination of faith to an invitation to dig deeper into faith?

Big Idea: Christians often let us down…it isn’t normally due to struggles but of their spirits and disposition toward others…this often causes doubt in people that are earnestly seeking.

Week 5 (3/3/2024) Christianity is like other Religions…right??

John 14:6; 1 John 4:2-3; Revelation 21:4; Romans 3:22

Big Idea: It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you are sincere…right? Whatever religion you choose should move you to the appropriate behaviors that will in the end send us to heaven (if there is one) right? These questions and thoughts bring significant doubt regarding the claims and person of JC. How is Jesus different…? How do I engage in the PERSON of Jesus Christ vs. the behavior that religion demands?

Week 6 (3/10/2024) What about science?

Are science and Christianity polar opposites…do you have to check your brain at the door when you put your faith in Christ? Many people doubt the validity of Christianity because they believe it negates empirical thought. But what if the relationship of the Bible and Science are not competitive but cooperative?

Week 7 (3/17/2024) When I don’t feel like God stuck with me

Big Idea: This is one of the biggest obstacles to faith in the midst of doubt. We will look at Jesus stating the words “why have you forsaken me”…and then turn to Biblical encouragement for enduring, resting and seeking God when He “seems” silent.
